Summary of Position/Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and direction of creative deliverables for all assigned projects. In partnership with the Creative Director, this position is responsible for developing concepts, implementing design strategies and producing interactive and brand design solutions. Balance creative thinking and client expectations while drawing upon interpersonal skills to successfully translate concepts into functional design deliverables.
· Must work effectively with cross-functional counterparts in Design, while also being able to talk design and make strong design recommendations supported by strategic rationale.
· Designs and produces exhibit images using computer-based and traditional design methods to meet client standards and deadlines.
· Coordinates with internal marketing group on image needs.
· Works under moderate supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
· Performs related work as assigned.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
· 4-year degree in Graphic Design or Advertising Design or similar field
· Exceptional design skills supported by robust portfolio.
· Proven creativity.
· Expert level experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign.
· HTML/CSS, XML, Class-based Flash ActionScript and other relevant technology skills
· Basic level experience with 3D software for modeling, texturing and rendering.
· Experience developing for cross-browser/platform compatibility
· 3-4 years experience in Web design
· Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
· Organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities and ability to work under tight deadlines
